Stop$30 Billion.org – a self described grassroots organization – and “the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation” have teamed up together to post 23 different billboards all throughout the United States. One can still support the existence of Israel and the existence of Palestine. To be critical of the Israeli government’s horrendous apartheid policies is not the same thing as being antisemitic … Palestinians are Semites after all.
I do find it interesting to watch certain politicians calling for cuts to domestic programs that help Americans but would rather lose an arm than cut handouts to the Israeli government funded directly by the American taxpayer. American money is being spent to further the oppression of the Palestinian people … robbing them of their lands and making it illegal for Palestinians to do many things that Americans would consider tyranny. But America keeps giving Israel $3 billion a year in handouts anyway.

Millions of Americans will be exposed to these billboards every day as commuters in the country’s second largest metropolitan area are stuck in traffic on some of the most congested roads in the world. Stop30Billion Co-founder Armen Chakerian told me the campaign plans to put up additional signs in different spots in LA each month.
This is the largest advertising campaign launched by Stop30Billion thus far. Last spring its successful campaign in Denver, Colorado, garnered lots of attention from citizens and local media.
