Breaking: Israel Radio: Netanyahuto adopt Levy Ctee Report, where Israeli rule in West Bank is not occupation, legalizing illegal outposts.

This is breaking news … so it isn’t verified yet by Reuters or any other international newspaper. But Daniel Seidemann writes for Foreign Policy and Haaretz; so he’s legit.
There have been continued instances of private land being stolen from Palestinians; homes being built on those lands and then sold to Jewish families. The Palestinians whose lands were stolen from them have few rights in the Israeli legal system; eventually – those illegal settlements find themselves becoming legal due to either legislative or judiciary injustice. And the borders of Israel continue to push further east and Palestinians lose their land. The only problem is how to make these illegal thefts of Palestinian lands legal. Prime Minister Netanyahu has the solution; he appointed the Levy committee to look at these claims.
The Levy report aka the Report on the Legal Status of Building in Judea and Samaria was written by 3 Israelis cherry picked by PM Netanyahu to investigate the legal status of illegal settlements as well as determining whether or not Israel’s involvement in the West Bank could be considered an occupation legally. So – a partial right leaning Prime Minister who wants a report to say Israel is not occupying Palestine lands creates a commission to say “Israel is not occupying Palestinian lands”. Asking this commission of 3 Israeli Jews whether or not Israeli is guilty of occupation is like asking Iranian President Ahmadinejad whether or not Iran is enriching uranium for military purposes; of course not. This is not an impartial review; this is a complete sham.
Prime Minister Netanyahu is no doubt moving forward on these illegal settlements and stealing this land now one week before a debate on foreign policy with Romney – Netanyahu’s pal … and 3 weeks before the U.S. election. Netanyahu understands that he’ll never have more leverage over President Obama on expanding illegal Israeli settlements than he will at this very moment. President Obama is locked into a tight election and Democrats are always wary of offending their Jewish base … especially given the Florida vote.

Separately, Netanyahu has also received pleas for the committee to support a High Court petition by Migron outpost residents who say they recently bought the property on which many of the 50 families live.
They have asked the court to allow those families to remain in their homes by canceling its order that they evacuate the outpost by August 28.
The committee last month said that the Migron families should be allowed to stay if the court upheld their purchase claim.
But at a court hearing on the matter last month, state attorney Osnat Mandel said that Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein found this opinion legally problematic.

Altogether, according to UN data, Israel razed some 400 Palestinian structures in the West Bank’s Area C between the start of the year and mid-August, including 120 houses; more than 600 Palestinians were hurt by these demolitions. Area C is the part of the West Bank that the Oslo Accords assigned to full Israeli control.
The structures destroyed yesterday were in four communities located in the south Hebron Hills.

In Israel – they are stealing land with no rights or cause in order to expand their borders before peace is made (if peace is ever made). These right wing fascist Jewish settlers are hostile and have no interest in peace …. they are not characteristic of the Jewish whole. The Jewish people are not a monolithic bunch; they are a people with varying ideologies and beliefs. Contrast the behavior of the Israeli settlers with that of other Jews who protest these injustices. In fact – the Jews being a liberal people and akin to justice in my opinion … recognize the illegal behavior that’s occurring with their Jewish Taliban … no different than in America where we have our version of the American Taliban. Unfortunately – the current government is led by that right wing coalition.
All an Israeli has to do to claim land is tell the Israeli government that they bought it from a Palestinian. They are not required to prove this with documents nor is the supposed seller given their day in court (until many years later after the land is already sold and the court rules it is too late now). An Israeli Jew can ask the military to claim his or her right to the land of a Palestinian without having to prove this in court.
Quite simply – I want to punch Prime Minister Netanyahu in the face with visceral abandon. Of course I would never do that but I certainly would love a freebie. There is a reason the world views Israel as being only more popular than North Korea, Iran and Pakistan (source); like those three countries – they are dangerous, reckless and a pariah. These actions are ILLEGAL. Every illegal action in the history of illegal actions always justified their actions through some form of lies and deception; Netanyahu is no different.
