Chris Matthews went on the Andrea Mitchell show and put her in an awkward position. She’s supposed to be the straight news type and he’s more of the editorialist. Well – apparently … her liberal bias isn’t supposed to be out there. Interesting fact about Andrea Mitchell … she is married to former FED Chairman and super Republican Alan Greenspan.
“It’s not our opinions … it’s factual.” Ha.
For a list of states with their Voter ID requirements – you can find that on the National Conference of State Legislatures website HERE.
Do you see a trend with the list of states that have enacted strict Voter ID laws?
And as we’ve shared HERE – in person voter fraud is “virtually non-existent”:
In the last 12 years – there have only been 10 cases of alleged in person voter fraud in the U.S. The laws that conservatives are passing throughout the country to require I.D. would not limit what fraud does exist … namely registration fraud and absentee ballot fraud. It is pretty clear to anyone who is watching … the reason for the concerted effort to push Voter ID laws throughout the country is to disenfranchise your constitutional right to vote for your elected representatives. They’re doing this because these laws would have a net effect of disenfranchising likely Democratic voters.
But Republicans keep pushing for laws that have been proven to disenfranchise likely Democratic leaning voters … and the federal courts have been blocking those laws as being unconstitutional in Texas, Florida and Ohio … all very recently.

[...] Let’s call this what it is – it’s voter suppression; my own thoughts echo that of Chris Matthews HERE. [...]
