This is pretty sad.  This is video of the unedited version of a man shooting himself in the head after a car chase live on the air today.  Don’t watch this if you are concerned about graphic violence.

Shep Smith’s immediate response was very transparent; this was a big time screw up and he knew it immediately.  I’ve always liked Shep Smith and have considered him not part and parcel with the rest of his network … his apology seemed very sincere and it was appropriate.
