It’s election time…the general election has begun and you’re about to experience an onslaught of psyops and propaganda like you’ve never experienced.  The rules have changed and very wealthy interests will stop at nothing to make sure that they are protecting their interests at all costs.  ”Veterans for a Strong America” is now recruiting current and former military including Navy Seals to condemn and minimize President Obama politically.  And just like in 2004 against John Kerry – most of it will be bullshit.  This group is responsible for THIS AD; they’re trying to paint President Obama into a box where he feels like he won’t be able to tout his foreign policy credentials and successes during his time in office including the order to kill Osama bin-Laden.

1. In four days, the first ad by Veterans For A Strong America garnered almost 1 million views on Youtube.

2. Veterans For A Strong America is seeking to recruit Navy SEALS to attack Obama.

3. Arends also tried to Swift Boat Obama in 2008.

4. Arends worked as a consultant for the Koch Brothers’ Americans for Prosperity.

5. In 2008, Arends — posing as a “journalist” — organized and participated in a taxpayer-subsidized propaganda trip to Iraq.

6. Arends is coordinating with key Islamophobic figures on the far right.

7. Arends helped promote a documentary advocating war with Iran.

8. Veterans for A Strong America is fully endorsed by Karl Rove.

Thanks to the Citizens United decision passed by a “conservative” Supreme Court – we have these groups popping up with no idea of who is funding them.  When you look up “Veterans for a Strong America” on FEC reports – you get NOTHING.  See HERE.  But you need to remember – ALL OF THESE GROUPS are funded by billionaires.

The 2004 Swift Boat Veterans for Truth campaign featured some ex-sailors (though none had been shipmates of Sen. John Kerry), but for now the VFSA does not have any actual Navy SEALs speaking on its behalf. Arend says he’s working on recruiting disgruntled current and recent commandos. “I’ve been in touch with a number of Navy SEALs and special operators. There is discontent, I believe, among them about Obama’s excessive celebration,” he says. “We’re gonna be rolling some of those folks out soon.”

It’s impossible to know how many of America’s 22 million veterans are actually represented by VFSA’s political activities. “We don’t pretend to speak for all veterans,” Arends says. There is no doubt that Arends, a decorated Iraq War vet and longtime Army Reserve and National Guard member, cares deeply about his comrades in arms. But there’s little evidence that VFSA is more than a dark-money group with connections to the Republican Party, the tea party group Americans for Prosperity, and Islamophobic activists.

The Daily Mail – a Tabloid media company (owned by News Corp) – “interviews” various current and former Navy Seals that are discontented with President Obama’s politics – HERE:

A former intelligence official who was serving in the US government when bin Laden was killed said that the Obama administration knew about the al-Qaeda leader’s whereabouts in October 2010 but delayed taking action and risked letting him escape.

‘In the end, Obama was forced to make a decision and do it. He knew that if he didn’t do it the political risks in not taking action were huge. Mitt Romney would have made the call but he would have made it earlier – as would George W. Bush.’

Brandon Webb, a former SEAL who spent 13 years on active duty and served in Iraq and Afghanistan, said: ‘Bush should get partial credit for putting the system in place.

‘Obama inherited a very robust package with regards to special ops and the intelligence community. But Obama deserves credit because he got bin Laden – you can’t take that away from him.
