I can’t confirm where the picture of this marketing campaign for Christian cell phones is coming from … but it’s absolutely hilarious. I like my cell phones like I like my government – secular. This campaign reminds me of this little ditty:
Matthew 10:16 – Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves.
Then there was this marketing campaign by Phone4U which sold cell phone plans in the United Kingdom last year using a “Buddy Jesus” image. The UK government blocked this national campaign after 100 complaints from offended Christians rolled in. The Guardian has more on that story HERE. It made me laugh.
