Wow. That’s an amazing statement to come from Mitt Romney. Like … WOW. You can find him saying that HERE. Of course – he is upset about this ad HERE from Priorities USA – a 3rd party Pro-Obama SuperPAC. I personally believe that due to the nature of the closeness of the campaigns to their SuperPACs … candidates should be held accountable for any commercials on their behalf that are dishonest even if the campaign themselves do not officially pay for them. I feel that way because even though campaigns are not officially allowed to coordinate with 3rd party groups since that would be illegal … the reality is – they are often staffed with former campaign staffers who have close relationships and they’re able to “wink and nod” just fine to be an extension of the campaign.
So – Mitt has taken the stance that Obama is responsible for false ads by 3rd party groups and that any false ads should be taken down. REMEMBER THAT.
Because unlike that 3rd party ad that has left Romney all hurt emotionally – Romney’s campaign has put out SEVERAL … as in a PLETHORA … of deceitful and dishonest ads that fact checkers have ripped apart for their brutal lack of truth.
And consider for a moment … two points:
#1 – The ads below are just the ads from Mitt Romney’s campaign. I’m not even including the countless ads being presented by Karl Rove’s American Crossroads SuperPAC or the Koch Brothers funded Americans for Prosperity or any of the other countless big money SuperPACs funneling hundreds of millions of dollars in lies.
#2 – The ads below don’t even take into account the numerous dishonest statements … just shit that comes out of his mouth on a routine basis … every single day. This man lies so much that Politifact has recorded more “Pants on Fire” lies from Mitt Romney than even Michelle Bachmann. And really … to fairly compare his lying record – it would be most fair to look at his lies based off of a % of the statements reviewed. The man lies so much that 43% of the time Politifact has check a statement by Mitt Romney personally (not his staff) … they rated it as either Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire. That’s a horrendous record of shame. Is Mitt Romeny going to go on record taking responsibility for his false statements?
