The Youtube video above is audio of the 911 call placed to the New Brunswick police department explaining that something very suspicious was going on.

So – ask yourself … is it appropriate for police from New York to spy on American students because of their religion and background in a city or state that they don’t even work in?  The undercover cops who rented the apartment used a fake name and the NYPD says “they’re not acting as police officers”; oh really?   So they’re just vigilantes spying on Muslims?

The recent Aurora, Colorado shooting is just another reminder that killers and psychopaths come in all colors and religions.  I’m deeply offended at the notion that American citizens would be tracked by police out of their jurisdiction simply based on their religion.  Some conservatives say we need to stop being politically correct; I thought conservatives considered themselves the protectors of the Constitution with freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to carry an AK47 out on your waist proudly, freedom and liberty for all (unless you’re Muslim).

If that’s the case – we should be investigating and creating files on every single Christian in Colorado Springs, CO because after all … the Aurora shooter was white and even though I’m not sure if he was really Christian … he looks like he probably was raised that way.  So we might as well just go ahead and “be safe” and start some recon on those true believers in Colorado Springs.  After all – if these Christians aren’t really doing anything wrong … they shouldn’t have a problem with the FBI and Denver police infiltrating their churches and spying on them while they pray.  Makes perfect sense.  </sarcasm>

The call sent New Brunswick police and the FBI rushing to the apartment complex. Officers and agents were surprised at what they found. None had been told that the NYPD was in town.

At the NYPD, the bungled operation was an embarrassment. It made the department look amateurish and forced it to ask the FBI to return the department’s materials.

The emails highlight the sometimes convoluted arguments the NYPD has used to justify its out-of-state activities, which have been criticized by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and some members of Congress. The NYPD has infiltrated and photographed Muslim businesses and mosques in New Jersey, monitored the Internet postings of Muslim college students across the Northeast and traveled as far away as New Orleans to infiltrate and build files on liberal advocacy groups.

In February, NYPD’s deputy commissioner for legal matters, Andrew Schaffer, told reporters that detectives can operate outside New York because they aren’t conducting official police duties.

“They’re not acting as police officers in other jurisdictions,” Schaffer said.

And as we shared HERE – the vast majority of terrorist cases in the U.S. are actually not related to Muslims:

In the last 15 years alone, there have a number of high-profile of domestic terrorist attacks on U.S. soil that did not involve Muslims.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation suspected Dr. Bruce Ivins of being behind the 2001 anthrax attacks. Jim David Adkisson was accused of killing two people and wounding seven others at a Tennessee church in 2008 because he wanted to kill liberals and Democrats. Anti-abortion activist Scott Roeder was convicted of the 2009 murder of Dr. George Tiller. White supremacist James W. von Brunn killed a security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2010. And Andrew Joseph Stack flew a plane into a Texas office building in 2010, possibly targeting the Internal Revenue Service.

The NYPD has been partnering with the CIA to learn how to create databases and investigate potential suspects.  I can’t imagine any American wants a “file” created about them where a state government employee follows them around and tracks their habits.  America – Home of the Free.  And as we wrote about HERE:

This level of spying by the NYPD assisted by CIA training reminds me of East German Cold War techniques used by the KGB.  The NYPD is spying on 2nd and 3rd generation Americans….born on American soil for generations simply because of their religion. Very few Americans seem to actually care about this, but how would Americans feel if this was happening to Jews or Christians? Could you even contemplate that?
