“What would the world be like if Christians actually believed in a humble God? If following a God of poverty and humility led them to abandon their opinions, prejudices, and judgments so they could be more open to love others where they are, like God?

The world would be a much better place if Christians were more like their God. But – as with any religion….I find this to be true in Islam and also Judaism. With Christianity…I do see this in people although in aggregate – not as much. Regardless – I know that we all challenge ourselves to become our better selves and regardless of the religion…we would all do well to respect each other’s belief systems. The real problems happen when someone’s belief system tells them that they have to control SOMEONE else’s belief system. And in that way – I think Christianity in America is failing. I understand where it’s coming from….but y0u can hardly say that it’s a “live and let live” approach to life.
And as long as someone is trying to enforce their belief system on someone else – there will be conflict.
