“If Claire McCaskill were a dog, she’d be a “Bullshitsu’”
~Rick Tyler, Todd Akin Adviser
Missouri Republican and Senate hopeful Rep. Todd Akin compared his Democratic opponent, incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill, to a dog who plays “fetch” for higher taxes and regulations from Washington and brings them back to Missouri. That’s why Todd Akin’s has a 31% favorability with women (source); who the hell are those 31% of women I want to know.
Now this is the same guy who in August claimed in a television interview that “legitimate rape” rarely resulted in pregnancy, saying that “the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”
Clearly Akin has deep-routed issues with women as evidenced in how he expresses himself. Strong women are even more terrifying to him which speaks volumes of his lack of character. He’s not suited for a position in government as he is most definitely unable to view the genders equally let alone ALL of the citizens of Missouri or the US.
At a fundraiser on Saturday in Springfield Missouri… Akin said
She goes to Washington, D.C. and it’s a little bit like one of those dogs, you know ‘fetch,’ and she goes to Washington, D.C. and gets all of these taxes and red tape and bureaucracy and executive orders and agencies and she brings all of this stuff and dumps it on us in Missouri.
It seems to me that she’s got it just backwards,” Akin added. “What we should be doing is taking the common sense that we see in Missouri and taking that to Washington, D.C., blessing them with some solutions instead of more problems.
